BadmintonTrack ("Badminton Scorer Tracker") is an iOS application developed by an independent developer. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect (or rather, what we do not collect) when you use our app and website.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app stores all your match data, player profiles, and preferences locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. No data is sent to any external server.
Analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics services. We do not track your usage patterns, screen views, or interactions within the app. We have no analytics SDK integrated into the app.
Advertising
The app does not display advertisements. We do not use any advertising frameworks or tracking pixels.
In-App Purchases
The app offers a one-time Pro upgrade through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or purchase history beyond what Apple provides to verify your entitlement.
Multipeer Connectivity
The app's live spectating feature uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to share match scores between nearby devices over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. This connection is peer-to-peer between devices in proximity. No data passes through any external server. The shared data consists only of match scores and game state -- no personal information is transmitted.
Apple Watch
If you use the Apple Watch companion app, match data is transferred between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity framework. This data stays within your personal device ecosystem and is not transmitted externally.
Website
The badmintontrack.com website does not use cookies, does not run analytics scripts, and does not collect any visitor information. The site is purely informational.
Children's Privacy
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children. Since no personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted, the app complies with applicable children's privacy regulations.
Changes to This Policy
